TALENT EXPO 2010 - (Event Magazine)

The talent industry has become increasingly reliant in recent years on artists and performers being sourced through TV talent and music shows, transforming ordinary members of the public into overnight Stars. With this in mind, serial entrepreneur Robert Fenton brings us Talent Expo; an event that brings together and caters for all aspects of the talent and showbiz industry. As expectations to deliver soar relentlessly by the minute, find out how this groundbreaking event looks set to propel more talented hopefuls sky-high!

Targeted towards those looking to break into the performance industry, Talent Expo provides a platform for aspiring musicians, actors, models and entertainers alike. Fenton himself is no stranger to the showbiz industry. Having started a model and talent agency little over 10 years ago, he has since developed a branch of it to become the UK's largest provider of extras to the Bollywood film industry. Talking more about his new vision, he explained, “Talent Expo will be the perfect place for the likes of model and entertainment agencies, scouts and producers to see the latest and brightest UK talent. So if you have what it takes and you’re looking for a break, then this is the event for you.”

Held at the sensational ExCel, London, on the 25th-27th June 2010, this innovative approach of exposing talent to the industry has got everybody talking; including eighties pop queen, model and TV personality Sinitta, who has since become the face and spokesperson for the event. This is how she describes it: “I’m giving my support to Talent Expo because it’s the only event that reveals the reality of making a living using your talent."

But how would such an event set upon achieving this, you might ask? Well not only can Talent Expo boast an impressive 9 Zones, each catering for a different area of the talent industry, but it also offers a wide and diverse range of workshops, seminars and celebrity Q&A sessions. Add to that a host of celebrity performances on the Main Stage, and Limelight; a singing competition offering a cool £10,000, a production/album deal, and an all expenses paid trip to record in the United States and there you have it, ‘The World’s Largest Live Talent Fair and Showcase’.

And on the subject of competitions, Limelight is just one of many boasting potential career and indeed life changing prizes. Two that particularly stand out for many is ‘Make me a Plus Size Model’ and ‘New Faces/New Fashion; so much so, that Fashion TV will be covering the event. Prizes include modelling contracts, photo shoots, cash incentives, as well as the chance to parade yourself and your collections in front of leading industry experts like Premier Model Management. You can find out more information on all of the competitions taking place at this year’s Talent Expo, including the aforementioned, on the Talent Expo website, at www.talentexpo.co.uk

But that’s not all, because Talent Expo is also bringing you, in association with Patrick Alan and Robert Fenton Enterprises, LA’s hottest dance ticket, the Carnival Choreographer’s Ball, armed with some of the world’s most exciting dance acts, such as Quest Crew, We are Heroes, Cris Judd and more.
