The Romans did it, as did Facebook and Swine Flu. That’s right, dance fever has officially taken over the world; and with this in mind, Patrick Alan in association with Talent Expo, presents ‘Uk’s Best Dance Crew.’
Calling all dance crews, the event goes in search for the countries most exciting, inventive and original acts, to perform in the final at this year’s Talent Expo. With appearances from US dance favourites, ‘Quest Crew’ and ‘We are Heroes’, the event offers the UK’s best, up and coming dancers a rare opportunity to go head to head, in the presence of greats.
When asked what he was looking for, Event Organiser and choreographer Patrick Alan explained, “We’re looking for expressions of creativity - The more creative you are, the more dynamic the routine, the better the chance you have to win.” Alan himself has built a prestigious career in dance over the years, working with some of biggest names in the industry, but is far from surprised by its sudden and epic resurgence to the mainstream. “Dance is a true art form that anyone and everyone can relate to, no matter how old.”
Crews will provide all their own costumes and music, whilst props are welcome and encouraged! Crews can be anything up to 16 - 17 people approximately. Further information on how to apply for the competition can be found at http://xrl.us/uksbestdancecrew
